Squeezed Links: January 2008
Filed Under Squeezed LinksLet me tell you, I have been as busy as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.
Yes, the new year has been that crazy, both in work and outside of work. It is a very exciting time as a lot of cool things are starting to gel at work, and a lot of new gigs are starting to gel outside of work. But it all results in a lot of work, and I am burning the candle from both ends.

Ego is the mind killer. Many developers are emotional people, they just express their emotion in their “passion” about their code. I think many could remember the lessons of humility: there will always, always be someone smarter than yourself.
Those who do not want to submit themselves to reviews can’t face the truth. Without commentary from others mixed with humility, you have no chance of learning, and this extends beyond code.
