Max Pool – Finally #1 In Google

Filed Under Announcements

After many months of competing in the Google SERPs for the #1 spot it appears I have finally gained the top spot for the search term ‘Max Pool’.

With a name like Max Pool, do you know what you have to compete with? Approximately 418,000 pages dealing with MSSQL Max Pool Size connection strings and another 7.5 million dealing with pool tables. Geez…

Max Pool term ranking #1 in Google

A big thanks to those who link to me often using my name! The top linkers are definitely Alvin Ashcraft and Arjan Zuidhof – thanks guys!

    With a name like Rob Reynolds, do you know how many people you have to compete with? ;D

    Not quite as many as you, but apparently I am both 6th and 8th on the google search.

    Congratulations! You will have to teach me the arts of SEO, oh wise one. 😀

    @Rob –

    Trick #1 is to get enough people to link to your blog with the anchor text of your name like Rob Reynolds.

    Hey look! You’re half way there!

    Congrats. However, you haven’t really hit big time until one of your posts is the first google result back with the search terms “communal douche bags”.
